WHAT IS YIN YOGA?

Yin Yoga is a slow-paced practice that focuses on passive, long-held postures. Rather than engaging your muscles actively, you’ll learn to relax into each pose, allowing gravity and time to create a profound stretch in the body’s connective tissues—fascia, ligaments, and tendons. This approach not only enhances physical flexibility but also promotes a sense of calm and mindfulness, offering students a pathway to deeper self-awareness and relaxation.

Join Anna Heath and Nick Reynolds for this transformative immersion in Yin Yoga. Elevate your teaching, expand your perspective, and help your students find the stillness and insight they seek. We can’t wait to support you on this journey!

WHY ADD YIN YOGA TO YOUR TEACHING SKILLSET?

Balance & Variety
In today’s fast-paced world, students crave balance in their yoga practice. Offering Yin classes is an excellent way to complement more dynamic or strength-based flows, giving practitioners a well-rounded and sustainable approach to yoga.

Deep Rest & Recovery
Yin Yoga targets the parasympathetic nervous system, often referred to as “rest and digest.” By tapping into this mode, students experience profound rest, making it especially beneficial for athletes, busy professionals, or anyone seeking relief from stress and tension.

Enhanced Self-Awareness
The meditative quality of Yin Yoga encourages students to turn inward, cultivating resilience, emotional balance, and clarity that extend far beyond the yoga mat.

Expanded Teaching Opportunities
Whether you’re looking to lead specialized Yin classes, workshops, or retreats, adding this modality to your skill set broadens your teaching horizons. You’ll stay current and in demand as a versatile, knowledgeable instructor.
